This is the vehicle node: a low housing, a strong magnet, and a weather-sealed antenna. It is meant to live on a steel roof and keep a mesh radio with the car.

Black is the standard color. Grey, green, red, and tan are $5 more.
Some newer vehicles use aluminum roofs. Magnets will not hold on those. Check the roof before you order.
These have been run on vehicles in Central Texas weather. They are built to be weatherproof, and the seals are still worth a look every few months. Made to order: allow 10–14 days.
